PERKS OF BEING SINGLE ON VALENTINES DAY

Who said you can't be single and enjoy some perks on valentines day... well if someone did, they lied and that's why  the headline is perks of being single on vals-day and not surviving being single on vals-day! Being single and happy on Val's - Day is just reassurance that even on a day branded for couples there is still hope for the single and not searching. lets see how...

TIP: you could always start the day by burning some things your ex left behind if you still holding on to it... why hold on to it? if you're still single by valentines day how the hell do you think that T-shirt or Scarf left behind is gonna help you

SO... first major perk of  being single is the so much extra time you have to yourself, for other days that probably means whatever you please but for this special day, being single gives you all the time give yourself some loving. By loving i mean treat yourself! Treat your body to a relaxing spa experience or full body massage simply. Nothing beats a relaxed Body, Mind and Soul.

Find and get yourself in one of those "single so what" valentines day parties that one single genius always remembers to throw. "singles parties"  are always such fun and a great way to meet and network with new people - you always find some cuties around too, and of-course, no one goes on about what "bae" got them for vals day or how special their night is going to end, except for when in my personal experience, the couples crash the party after the 'usual boring dinner dates' We all know by now that many think dinner date on valentines day can be compared to the Rolling Stones" - rolling eyes emoji. Get creative!(dear couples)

Ladies, Break the color code and throw on some sparkle like its new years eve! trust!, no one really cares what colour you wear on Vals day, the weather will stay the same and so will their plans. Minor perk, no one even bothers to ask why you broke the colour code because you are single! you don't owe it to anyone to wear red and there is no man to make u wanna wear it for some date where everything is already red anyway.

GIFT YOURSELF, yes that's right. It is very important to buy yourself presents at certain points in time or everyday if you want... and can. Go out and spoil yourself to something you really wanted to get for the day. A pair fantastic shoes, new lingerie,  box of chocolates, a Lamborghini, whatever you want as long as YOU can afford it.  Remember its important to do this for yourself as a reminder that the best perks we get are the ones we acquire ourselves ( as far as being single is concerned today… lol) And if you do get yourself those pair of expensive shoes that break the bank, just convince yourself  that as a single woman, you're going through a rough time and those shoes will only help you walk better through it, in style... wink.

you can honour the day and get yourself  a goody bag... or a pair of  royalty for your feet.

I know right... more shoe options.

One of my favourite perks being a foodie, is how it seems nobody will wonder if you buy a whole pizza shop or call for a feast to be delivered to your home, they just assume "its valentines day" people make a lot of arrangement that always involves food and sometimes soo much food. so perks? almost every restaurant or fast food place will have special discounts on valentines packages for 'couples'. So really you if you just drop in or call to order as many valentine packages you want on the menu and they wont even flinch plus you might get a sweet promotional deal all for yourself. I mean if you are single and hungry on Vals-day, then you might as well get stuffed - humble opinion of a foodie.

definately!

So there you have it, 5 perks you need to have on valentines day as a single person.

Oh, and single guys... before you get sad about a lonely valentines night, just remember ''Roses are red, violets are blue, vodka cost less than dinner for two" :) grab a drink!
