SI UNIT NOMINATED FOR AFRO RAP ARTISTE OF THE YEAR AT THE AGMA '14
KNUST based
rap group SI UNIT made up of 5 rappers have received nomination in
this year's Africa Gospel Music Awards which will be held in London, United
Kingdom on the 24th of August 2014. They were nominated for the Afro rap
artiste of the year award.
Other artistes
nominated include Ghana Music award winning Cwesi Oteng and Ace gospel artiste
Joe Mettle for Music video of the year and Best artiste West Africa
respectively.
The name SI Unit is an abbreviation which stands for "Spirit
Inside Unit"
They have to their credit a mix tape made up of 14 songs and an Extended Play(EP) entitled Heat Is Coming which also has 9 songs. The group is signed to Narrow Road Records. They spearhead the fast growing #COMEALIVE Movement through which they encourage everybody to die to the flesh and live in the Spirit. Voting is started yesterday, July 23rd.
